६ सय गाई र डेढ लाख लिटर दुध- रामकुमार खड्काको व्यवसाय

दोलखा: नेपाल डेरी उद्योग संघका पूर्व अध्यक्ष रामकुमार खड्का अहिले शहरमा भेटिँदैनन्। कुनै समय बानेश्वरस्थित इन्द्रेणीको काल्दी कफी सपमा हरेक दिन भेटिने खड्का अहिले काठमाडौंबाट १ सय १० किलोमिटर टाढा दोलखाको बोच गाउँमा डाँडा सम्याउँदैछन्।  

दक्षिण एसियामै सबैभन्दा ठूलो गाई फाम सञ्चालन गर्ने उद्देश्यले पाँच वर्षदेखि उनी निरन्तर त्यहीँ डाँडा सम्याएर गोठ निर्माणमा जुटेका छन्। दैनिक डेढ लाख लिटर दूध उत्पादन उनको लक्ष्य हो। यो लक्ष्य पूरा गर्न उनले कालिञ्चोक काउफार्म एन्ड रिसर्च सेन्टर स्थापना गरे। अहिले गाई गोठ निर्माण अन्तिम चरणमा पुर्याएका छन्।

‘सरकारी निकायमा बस्नेहरुले सधै नारा मात्रै घन्काए। व्यवहारमा कुनै काम गरेनन्,’ खैरो काउब्वाय टोपीमा भेटिएका उनले भने, ‘मैले त्यही नीति निर्मातालाई देखाउन शहर छोडेर अनवरत काम गरेका हुँ।’ यो अभियानकै लागि उनले आठ करोड रुपैयाँ लगानी गरिसकेका छन् । उनले १५ करोड लगानी गरेर ६ सय गाई पाल्ने योजना बनाएका छन्।

French companies to study feasibility of urban cable car in Valley

KATHMANDU, Feb 10  : A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport and a consortium of French companies to study technical and economic feasibility of urban cable car in Kathmandu Valley. 

The study would focus on feasibility of cable car from Narayan Gopal Chowk in the north of Kathmandu city to Lagankhel in Lalitpur in the South and from Kalanki in the west to Baudhanath in the east of Kathmandu.
